Chikis are confections made from split groundnuts, sesame seeds (white/black), puffed rice, split grams, popped sorghum and dry fruits. These are usually dipped and tossed in boiling hot sugar or jaggery syrup and then flattened with rolling pins and cut in uniform shapes when dried. Chikis are usually dry to semi-dry and non-sticky.
Chikis are the most versatile of the Indian sweets. They remain fresh, even without refrigeration, for longer time than the popularly sold sweets (many of these have the tendency to become stale after a few days due to milk products used in preparation). Chikis do not also normally break in transit.
Due to this any kind of packing could be used for chikis. However, we think that packaging sells the things so we make them in the popular sizes of 250 gm to 1 kg capacity with first rate printing to attract your customers.
